ALPHA
ZONE These are beginner zones. To graduate from the
these zones you need to gain 500 points. In these zones
you are placed on a team of up to 6 people. You share
prizes that you pick up and bullets cannot hurt other
yellow players. Enemies appear as blue. Moral behavior
here tends to be very honorable as there is really no
point in being vindictive. Play here to learn.
CHAOS
ZONE This zone is the next logical step from the
Alpha zone. This is a free for all killing spree with
teams and squadrons. In this zone you get a banner after
you get 5000 points. Moral behavior tends to be a free
for all but killing weak players (less than 20 bounty) is
still frowned upon by many players.
RUNNING
ZONE The flag game in here is slightly different. You
never drop the flag and this creates more of a running
game. Only the best players play here, expect a
challenge.
WAR ZONE
This zone has the flag game. A team must collect
all 8 flags to win the game. After you pick up a flag
(blue) then you get 60 seconds until you drop it at a
location (usually a pre-determined base), the flag then
turns yellow and you are unable to pick it up. Teams in
this zone are HIGHLY organized and only very skillful
squads should attempt to win the flag game. Moral
behavior in here tends to be high as there is little or
no point in killing a low bounty player. However low
bounty ships attacking powerful ships should expect
immediate death, these guys don't have time to play
around with you when they are defending a base.
SPEED ZONE This
new zone is for the player who does not have much time
but wants to be able to win a game. The game lasts for 1
hour and after that time the person with the highest
score wins. In this game the following commands are
available.
?time = time left in game
?best = your personal best.
To speed up gameplay players start with 30 bounty in this
zone.When you enter game or the game ends your score is
reset but your best is recorded. These bests will be
posted in the biweekly winners table.
TURF
ZONE This
strategic zone is similar to the game "risk" in
concept. 200 fixed flags are distributed around the map.
20 man teams compete to grab and defend territory. Every
10 mins or so you get points depending on how many flags
your team owns. The map is designed to be able to make
defensive "fronts" thus good squads (even small
ones) can stake out their turf and defend it. We hope
that this game will be a good start for ownership
subgames. We will see.
SKILL
ZONE A fast 30 min
game. You start with some bounty and you only get points
after the 2nd kill.
LEAGUE
ZONE A player organized league. Check the WEB BBS for
details. Lots of fun.
